Aunt Maureen

On July 9th 2008 my aunt Maureen died of very sudden illness. She leaved my uncle Gery 24 years. She was 47 when she died. When my parents told me the news I was shocked. You know what I mean it is very unlikely that a person 47 years old is going to die. So now that I've thought about it a little I could understand that uncle Gery had a lot on his plate taking care of three children. When we went to the wake I had to where some shinny black shoes. I cried a little. Then a funeral home person told us what was going on he told the family to come with him to see the dead body,and told us to wait in the room we where in. Finally it was the day of the funeral we said prayers and said poems. After the funeral was over we went to a buffet to celebrate the funeral being over. I was so happy that I did not have to feel sad about it. yes I still would have memories of her but I was happy that it was over.
